hello everyone!!
My name is Veronica Villalta and my major at La Guardia is Liberal Arts: Deaf
Studies. After I get my degree I want to go to Queens College to get a degree in Early Childhood
because my goal is to become a teacher for Special Education.
I can see myself more as a science person because I have experience working with
Autistic children, so I deal with their personality that involves their behavior, emotions and their
different types of Development such as, Physical, language, emotional, social and cognitive. It's
a challenge for me to try to understand how their brains work and how they feel about everything
around them. This makes me feel more positive about science.
In my opinion, I see people (in the United States) that are very open minded when
they accept science as a way of understanding their world.
